Established in 1994 and located adjacent to Lennie’s Restaurant, Bloomington Brewing Company became the first brewpub in Southern Indiana. Under the watchful eye of talented Head Brewer Floyd Rosenbaum the Bloomington Brewing Company has held tight to its mission to create small batches of unfiltered, unpasteurized, hand-crafted ales. The beers have become local favorites and are available at restaurants and watering holes all over town.
Rosenbaum’s repertoire includes the award-winning Quarrymen Pale Ale, Ruby Bloom Amber, FreeStone Blonde and BigStone Stout. BBC’s popular Vision Weiss and Java Porter are available seasonally. Due to the brewery’s limited capacity, BBC ales are available only on draft and only in the Bloomington area. Half-gallon “growlers” filled directly from the taps are available at the pub adjacent to Lennie’s. |
